tells the famous story of 14th-Century Italian writer Dante Alighieri’s journey through the nine circles of Hell. First published in 1321, “Inferno” is the first part of a larger three-part epic poem called Divine Comedy; the other two parts are called “Purgatorio” and “Paradiso.”
