MUSIC SAMPLES

Mvt. 1: PreShow: Present Day (Clocks) sets the stage for the show by immersing the listener within the inner mechanisms of a ticking clock. The number of ticking clocks increases quickly over a drone chord before fading back into silence.

Mvt. 1: Present Day (Back to the Future) utilizes the main theme from “Back To The Future” by Alan Silvestri to establish an ordinary day in present time. Suddenly, there is a disturbance to the space-time continuum. LICENSING REQUIRED

Mvt. 2: 1700s (Magic Flute) is an excellent opportunity to showcase the ensemble’s dynamic sensitivity—the movement opens with several woodwind solos over a soft ensemble accompaniment and gradually builds to a full ensemble arrival. This movement utilizes a popular theme from Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s opera “The Magic Flute.”

Mvt. 3: 1980s (Time After Time) is a stirring and flowing ballad using Cyndi Lauper’s popular melody from her hit song “Time After Time.” Flute solo introduces the melody, which then travels throughout the ensemble toward a full ensemble arrival. LICENSING REQUIRED
